Jobu’s Rum Recipes
The Jobu Daiquiri
- 2 ounces Jobu's Silver Rum
- 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1/2 ounce fresh grapefruit juice
- 1/2 ounce maraschino liqueur
Combine all the ingredients in a Boston shaker or cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain the contents into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Jobu Jamaican Mule
- 1.5 ounces Jobu's Barrel-Aged Rum
- 8 ounces Ginger beer
- Dash of Angostura bitters
- 1 x Lime wedge
Half fill a high ball glass with ginger beer. In a Boston glass combine the rum, Angostura bitters and lime.
Top with crushed ice and pour into the high ball glass over the ice to create a layered effect. Can also be placed in copper cup as standard Moscow mule.
Jobu Coconut Coco
- 2 oz. Jobu's Silver Rum
- 1 oz. Coconut Liquor Rum
- 1 oz. coconut water
- 1/4 oz. agave nectar
- dry coconut flakes
Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice and shake until well chilled. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass, then garnish with coconut flakes to taste.
The Jobu Julep
- 2 ounces Jobu's Silver Rum
- 2 teaspoons simple syrup
- Crushed ice
- 2 dashes of aromatic bitters
- 10 mint leaves, plus a few sprigs for garnish
Muddle mint with simple syrup in a julep glass, old-fashioned glass or stainless steel glass. Fill glass with crushed ice. Add Jobu's Silver Rum and stir well, until glass frosts. Garnish with mint sprigs.
